DESCRIPTION:

Florida section. Class III. This section of the mighty Reventazón River is some of the fastest and best 10 miles of Class III rapids you'll ever paddle! If you're a first-time or experienced paddler looking for the excitement of big waves, hydraulics, and stunning scenery, then this trip is for you.

The drive from Puerto Limon takes you through small villages and banana plantations.
At our Operations Center there are bathrooms, changing rooms and an area to buy last minute needs. After your safety orientation, the first rapid of the day will set the pace for more to come.

As your raft rounds each new bend in this dam-controlled river, you'll be greeted with yet another breathtaking view of the Reventazón Valley. Look for toucans, kingfishers, herons, tanagers, iguanas and bright green "Jesus Christ" lizards.

After a fun and exhilarating day of big waves, hydraulics and stunning scenery, you'll finish your trip with a stop at our Operations Center for a delicious hot lunch, showers, optional drinks and souvenir store before the return drive to the pier. This one-day adventure is unforgettable!

Note: Minimum age is 12 years; maximum weight is 250 lbs. Pregnant women and guests with back/neck injuries are not permitted on this excursion. 

Equipment and lunch are included. Water shoes, light clothing, towel and sunscreen are recommended. Storage lockers are available.

• Complementary soft drinks or bottled water are served during the tour.
• Round trip transport between the ship and attractions.
• The meeting point is inside the pier. Greenway have a special permission. Our guides are located close to the main gangway, just behind the security stand (scanner).
• Our guides will be at pier with a sign and the name of the tour on it.
• All buses have A/C
• Buses for 44 or 52 passengers have toilet.
• This tour has been designated an adventure  tour.
• Tour is not wheelchair accessible & is not for pax with any walking limitations.
• All tour guides are bi-lingual English – Spanish. For other languages please make the request in advance.
• During this tour, in some places there is no shade, pax should bring sunscream, a hat, sunglases, etc.
• During the rainy season, Sep- Nov, pax should expect some rain. Pax should bring a raincoat.
• Greenway Tours suggests pax to bring mosquito spray for beach and rain forest tours.
• Greenway Tours buses are equipped with First-Aid Kit in case of accidents.
• Pax should bring a towel and swim suit for the beach swimming.
• Pax should wear comfortable shoes.
• Pax should be advised to bring a backpack to store cameras, film, sunscream and any other belongings for easy travel.
• This tour is designed for active people that enjoy exercise and the great outdoors.
• Facilities include changing rooms, showers, restrooms, bar, restaurant.
