Oxcart Factory Shopping Experience
Sarchi is the home of Costa Rica's craftsmanship. This scenic town is located west of the Central Valley just 40 miles away from Puntarenas Port. It is an area surrounded by coffee and sugar cane plantations. As guests pass through this town they will discover the Costa Rican farmers most important symbol, the brightly colored hand-painted oxcart. Shopping time is scheduled here. A large variety of woodcrafts, leather goods, beautiful post cards and souvenirs of all kinds will be available.

Costa Rica Wildlife Encounter. Visit to ZooAve Zoo Ave Wildlife Conservation Park is one of three wildlife projects owned and operated by the Nature Restoration Foundation (NRF). It is an officially recognized Costa Rican wildlife rescue center and premier zoological facility.
