Day by Day Itinerary.

Day 1. WELCOME TO COSTA RICA. Arrival to the International Airport Juan Santamaria. Upon arrival at the San Jose airport, you will be met by one of our representatives who will explain your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with a package of vouchers and information about your trip. Transfer to hotel Aurola Holiday Inn and free time at leisure.

Day 2. TAMBOR – MAL PAIS – SANTA TERESA BEACH  (B). Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport for take a domestic flight to Playa Tambor. Upon arrival, transfer to Mal Pais beaches for a great nature encounter and relaxing time in paradise. Check In at Hotel Tropico Latino and free time at leisure.

Day 3 - 4. MAL PAIS – SANTA TERESA  BEACHES (B). Free time at leisure. Multiple optional tours available. Hotel Tropico Latino, located on the south-western tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, is a beach side resort with a full service spa focusing on 100% Natural products, yoga studio and Mediterranean restaurant. Abundant tropical gardens under an old forest canopy and modern designed bungalows of exotic hardwoods induce a feeling of landing in paradise. Relax poolside in one of the beach hammocks under a grove of coconut and almond trees as you watch a breathtaking sunset or enjoy a professional massage as you listen to waves rhythmically lap at the ocean's edge.

Santa Teresa it is known for gold-grey beaches, good surf conditions and a relaxing atmosphere. Surfing conditions are generally best during mid to high tides. The hotel is set in a wide, peaceful garden with a large beach side pool and Jacuzzi. Scattered amongst the garden and beach are cozy beach chairs and hammocks, perfect for relaxing.

Day 5. MAL PAIS – SANTA TERESA - ARENAL (B).  Breakfast at the lodge and land transfer to Arenal Volcano area. Located in the north of Costa Rica, the impressive Arenal Volcano is a natural phenomenon that attracts thousands and thousands of tourists due to its permanent, extraordinary and trusted volcanic activity, which on clear nights it seems like fireworks with intermittent explosions of ash and lava. Upon arrival, check in at selected hotel and free time at leisure.

Day 6. A FREESTYLE DAY IN ARENAL (B). Customize your vacation with an optional tour. Please let us know if you want to add any of these optional activities in order to make a reservation in advance. Otherwise free time at leisure. Check here the options available.

 Day 7. FREE TIME (B). During the morning, a great opportunity for explore the surroundings on your own and enjoy the beach. After lunch, land transfer to San Jose. Overnight at Hotel in San Jose.

Day 8. GOOD BY:  (B). Transfer to the International Airport accordingly with your scheduled flight and Good bye.

INCLUDE: 7 nights lodging in high quality Hotels, all land transportation within Costa Rica, all airport/ hotel transfers on scheduled arrival/ departures dates only, specified meals, specified tours and taxes.

NOT INCLUDED: International air fare, airport departure taxes, meals not specified in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, personal equipment, extras in hotels (laundry, phone calls, and room service), gratuities, or costs associated with changes in your itinerary for reasons beyond our control.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE: The shuttle bus is a service where a maximum of 6-7 passengers travel in the same vehicle and to the same destination. By this way, we reduce the price of the transfer service and can arrange more economical packages. The service is very good, door to door, with recent model vehicles, full insured and A/C.

DEPARTURE DATES: All our options are available all year around and we just need your travel dates in order to check the hotel's availability and arrange it.

HOW BIG THE GROUPS ARE: Our vacations are operated in an independent basis and you will not travel as part of a group unless you are part of a group. However, during the transfers and Daily Tours you will travel with other tourist we might have for that particular activity or service.

HOW TO RESERVE THIS PACKAGE: Please send an email to info@greenwaytours.com with as much as information you can about your desired vacation, number of participants, arrival dates, name of the package you are interested on and any other special requirements. Once you receive our confirmation form, a 20% deposit is due. Full payment due 60 days prior to departure.

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A PACKAGE: Yes, you can use our packages as a base and make any change on it. We are very flexible. If these packages do not fit on your desired vacation, just send an email to us and we can prepare a new option for you.

AIRFARE IS NOT INCLUDED: All our options includes the Land Portion only. Airfare must be on your own and indicate your arrival and departure dates to us in order to arrange the hotel's bookings.

HOTEL CATEGORIES: All the hotels used by Greenway Tours had been selected considering the best standards of quality and service. Our Hotels are between 3 and 5 stars. All inspected by our company's owners and managers in order to guarantee an excellent service. At least 50% of our lodging contractors had been certified as Green Companies by the Costa Rican Tourist Board (Certification in Sustainable Tourism CST).
